US Navy Ranks
The Tempest Union began life as a Virtual Naval Air Squadron, and we are as at home on a pitching carrier deck, as we are on a dirt field. While most of our flying is with lubbers these days, we remain Naval Aviators, and as such, we wear US Navy Ranks. These vary quite a bit from our land based brothers, and we list them below.
